| 1. | Choose the Leg Type from the drop-down list: Arrive, Depart, Connect-In or Connect-Out. This is a required field. |
| 2. | Choose the Travel Type and Travel Class from the drop-down lists. You must also enter this information to complete the reservation. You would have created these types and classes earlier in the setup process, in Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 5: General Lookup Tables, Travel Types. |
| 3. | Choose the Travel Agency from your company database. Click the ellipsis to the right of the field to open the Find COMPANY window. To review how to search in this window, see Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Find a Record. To review how to create a new company, see Chapter 3: Companies/Contacts, Enter a New Company. |
| 4. | If you select a Travel Agency above, the Phone Numbers should default in. |
| 5. | Enter a Reference # and Confirmation #. |
| 6. | Choose the Carrier from your company database. When you created travel companies earlier, you could classify them as Carriers. Review Chapter 3: Companies/Contacts, Enter a New Company: Classification. Click the ellipsis to the right of the field to open the Find COMPANY window. |
| 8. | Choose the Departing and Arriving terminals from the drop-down list or type in new terminals. The terminals in the drop-down lists were added earlier in the setup process, in Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 5: General Lookup Tables, Terminals. If you add a new terminal here, it will also be added to the General Lookup Tables and will be available in the Arriving/Departing drop-down lists. |
| 9. | From the On drop-down calendars, choose the departure and arrival dates. |
| 10. | If you want to record the departure and arrival Times, check the At checkboxes and enter times in the fields to the right. |
| 11. | Under Seat Reservations, enter the Quantity of reserved seats. |
| 12. | Enter the Charge for each seat. |
