| 1. | To change a report header in the Report Designer, you may be tempted to simply click on the Report Header in the report layout and type in a new name. However, you probably noted that when you print a report, you can type a new title into the Report Title field every time. Therefore, there is no point in modifying the report header in the Report Designer, as it will be re-written every time you print the report. |
| 2. | If you want to hard-code the Report Header so that users cannot change it when they print the report, you will have to replace the old header. Click on the report header and press the Delete key. If you deleted the wrong object, click Edit | Undelete before doing anything else. |
| 3. | Insert a label into the report header and format it as required, following the steps described in Add a New Label and Field above. |
| 4. | When you print this report, your label will be the header, even if the user types something different in the Report Title field of the Print dialog. To test this, run the report from the Reports menu and check the preview. |
