Communications Overview
You can create communications from several different screens in EventPro Planner. The process of creating a communication is essentially the same for all screens, except that different fields will be filled in by default and disabled, depending on where you started the communication.
NOTE: If you plan to use letter and label templates in your communications, it is recommended you read all of Chapter 13: Communications and Chapter 14: Letter and Label Templates, before creating and sending communications.
Remember that you adjusted the default System Settings for Communications earlier in Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 1: System Settings, Communications.
Select the event related to the communication you want to send. Click Contact at the top left of the screen.

Find the related event in the Event Maintenance screen and click on the Communications tab.

Find the related event in the Event Maintenance screen and click on the Attendees tab. Click on the View Attendees tab, find the Attendee and click on the Communications tab in the bottom section of the screen.
Remember that the Attendees Module is an optional module in EventPro Planner. If you have not purchased this module, you will not see the related Attendee tabs and screens. |
Find the related event in the Event Maintenance screen and click on the Exhibitors tab. Click on the View Exhibitors tab, find the Exhibitor and click on the Communications tab in the bottom section of the screen. Note that this tab will display Communications attached to the Exhibitor, as well as any communications attached to related Exhibitor Attendees.
Remember that the Booths and Exhibitors Module is an optional module in EventPro Planner. If you have not purchased this module, you will not see the related Exhibitor tabs and screens. |
