Sub-categories allow you to further define each category, allowing a choice of setup best suited to a specific event when creating the booking.
1.
To add sub-categories to a category, select the relevant category to which you want to add sub-categories in the Event Category grid and select the Sub-Categories tab below.

Click the New button to the right of the lower selection grid.

The Event Sub-Category [New] window appears.
4.
Enter the name of the Sub-Category and click Save.
5.
Continue adding as many sub-categories as you need for this category.

You will be able to select from these sub-categories if you book an event using an event category template; review Chapter 4: Create an Event, Create an Event: New Event Wizard: Initial Configuration.
