1.At the top of the List View tab, there is a Search field and a variety of options for creating a Filter.  Below, there is a selection grid containing actions related to the event (Event Maintenance screen) or all actions in EventPro Planner (Actions screen).  The function buttons (New, Edit, etc.) are located along the right side of the selection grid.
2.To sort the actions and re-arrange the selection grid to help you view the information you want, review how to sort records in Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Selection Grids and Sort Lists.
3.To search for a particular action, click on the selection grid heading under which you want to search (e.g. Subject, Assignment To, Category, etc.). Begin typing your keyword in the Search field. The arrow in the far left column will move to highlight the record that matches your search term.
4.Use the Filter options to limit the list of visible actions for the purposes of viewing or printing.
5.Select a user from the Assigned To drop-down list to view only actions assigned to that user.
6.Use the Quick Set drop-down list to view actions from a certain period of time, such as “Tomorrow” or “Next Week”.
7.Under Status, check the boxes to view only actions of those selected statuses.
8.Under Category, check the boxes to view only actions of those selected categories.
9.Choose applicable Start and End dates from the drop-down calendars under Dates.

1.In the calendar view, the actions will appear in the cells corresponding with the applicable dates and/or users. The cells containing actions will be highlighted with the color of the Action Status, which you set up when creating action status codes in Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 2: Status Codes.
2.If a percentage of the action has been completed, the status bar at the top of the cell will indicate the amount completed.
3.Click once to highlight a cell.  Below the calendar, there is a Selection Grid displaying the action contained in the cell you selected in the calendar. The function buttons (New, Edit, etc.) are located to the right of the bottom selection grid or under the Action menu in the upper left corner. To sort the actions and re-arrange the selection grid to help you view the information you want, review how to sort records in Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Selection Grids and Sort Lists.
4.Depending on whether you are in Day, Week, Month or Year view, you can select different days, months and years using the drop-down list or horizontal arrows located in the upper left corner. Click the Today button to highlight today’s date in the view.
5.Select a user from the Assigned drop-down list to view only actions assigned to that user.  Select <ALL> to see all actions, regardless of to whom they are assigned.
6.When viewing actions for all users, you can click on a user’s name in the left column to Magnify the view of that user’s actions.  Click on the user’s name a second time to minimize that user’s row and view actions for all users.
7.To switch between day, week, month and year views, use the View drop-down list to the upper right.  If you have highlighted a day in the Week, Month or Year view and switch to the Day view, EventPro Planner will display your selected date. If you switch from Day view to Week view, EventPro Planner will display the week containing the day you were viewing, but will not necessarily highlight that day in the week.
8.Under the Filter button, check the Status and Category options to view only actions of those selected statuses and categories.  Choose Show All to clear the filter and return to viewing all actions.

9.You can Drag and Drop an action from one cell to another to change the date or user responsible for it. However, you may be restricted as to where you can drop it.  For example, if the action is of a type that is date-dependent, you cannot move to another date.
10.To change the appearance of the calendar, click on the Preferences button.  Refer to Action Calendar Preferences above for more information.
